Traffic Generation tip using the new Amplify plugin for WordPress blogs

I wanted to share a new traffic generation tip with you because Amplify have  found a clever way to help people share content.

If you are not familiar with them Amplify let you set up your own blog that you use to “clip” information you find around the web and share it with the people who are following you – called your sources.

I have made a video of this traffic generation tip using the new Amplify plugin for WordPress blogs.

Why is this such a great way to generate traffic to your blog? Well there are a few reasons

Firstly, your content will be shared and commented upon on Amplify itself and like any good social platform if enough people are sharing and talking about it your blog gets noticed.

Secondly, everyone on Amplify has the ability to share your content around the web through their other social profiles like Twitter, Facebook, Friendfeed etc so your content is now being spread even wider than just Amplify. Anyone with an active following who shares your content will help to get your noticed.

Thirdly, strategic blogging is all about having a plan and (hopefully) if you have a plan you will be building your list so all those new visitors who come your way can join your subscriber list and stay in touch with you and the great work that you do online.

So those are three very powerful reasons to want to include the Amplify plugin on to your WordPress blog. Can you think of any others?
