I joined Inbound Marketing University to test my skills. I didn’t read through their material. I immediately took the exam because I figured I should know it already. If you don’t pass first time you have to wait 30 days and try it again.
The reason I did it that way was to test what I know and if I hadn’t passed I would have read up on the areas where my knowledge was weakest. Going through it lead generation conversion were the parts I had to spend time really thinking about – I really need to increase my knowledge in that area.
I know have a little badge I can display.
I would love to work up to an Msc in Digital Marketing because it helps to be able to wave a piece of paper around even if it really doesn’t mean a whole lot in terms of results and what can be achieved. Using and being active in digital marketing is a bigger qualification for me than the piece of paper but you know it all helps to strengthen one’s position in the market place
