I feel like the master building contractor who makes everyone’s home look wonderful and then you go to visit his house and it is a falling down crumbling wreck! I have been so great at blogging for clients and I do love writing blog posts (when the subject matter interests me of course) but my own blogs have suffered as a result, which of course I don’t want to happen.
Today, I want to focus on how you can generate traffic to your blog by writing more blog posts. It is a very easy way to get more blog traffic because the search engines (and let’s face it I am talking here about the Master that is Google) love the extra activity and reward it by helping you get found for your keywords. Assuming that you are using your keywords when you write of course!
I have seen some amazing results for clients by simply increasing the amount of blogging I do and at Blog Success we recommend you write a new post at least once a day 5 times a week when you first start out. For clients I actually blog twice a day for three months so you can imagine what that does for generating traffic to their blog.
One client experienced a 143.30% increase in traffic over one month by simply increasing the number of written posts. All highly informative, well written (of course 
) and providing value. I know twice a day can seem like a lot of blog posts to have to write and you may want to stick to once a day five times a week when you start out – but if you are eager and you think you can generate that much content then it is work working towards.
I have committed the time to write in my weight loss blog twice a day for a while to see what happens and I will of course keep you in touch. A couple of months ago I mentioned I wanted to go for the weight loss keyword phrase which of course is a HUGE phrase but I am determined to get one of the top spots in the UK. I don’t care if it takes 2 months (unlikely), 2 years or 10 years – I am going to keep blogging about weight loss until I get there.
